We’re happy to share news that the Franciscan Park’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is having a free BBQ Saturday October 16th 11am until 2pm at the barbecue area while supplies last.

Come, meet some great volunteers, eat hot dogs, hamburgers and the fixings and learn about how YOU can help your fellow citizens in the event of a major emergency. We recognize that in a major fire or earthquake with freeways or bridges damaged, that the professional First Responders may be DAYS from reaching us.

There will also be a raffle with proceeds benefiting the CERT supplies.

If you’ve ever wanted to know more about fire safety, rescue, ham radio, and how to keep everyone safe, then come meet your fellow park residents and learn about the training process. Everyone is welcome.
