We’re happy to share that the Franciscan Park’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) had a free BBQ Saturday October 16th at the barbecue area with approximately 100 people in attendance plus two fire trucks.
There was a raffle with proceeds benefiting CERT to update their supplies.
If you’ve ever wanted to know more about fire safety, rescue, ham radio, and how to keep everyone safe after a major disaster, then come meet your fellow park residents and learn about the national CERT training process. More info is listed in the online calendar. They meet on the first Tuesday of each month in the card room.
